ABOUT US

TOKTIZO is an architectural practice based in Crete, specializing in sustainable architecture and environmentally responsible design. Led by architect Christos Choraïtis, the studio creates contemporary buildings that establish a meaningful connection with the landscape, climate, and cultural context.

Our work focuses primarily on high-quality residential design, including private villas, eco-homes, and small-scale hospitality projects.

natural building systems

Our practice specializes in natural building systems and low-impact construction, combining Mediterranean tradition with contemporary architectural thinking.

Our approach includes:

* timber construction

* straw bale construction

* natural lime and clay plasters

* passive design strategies

* bioclimatic architecture

* locally sourced materials

These methods enable the creation of buildings with high energy performance, healthy indoor environments, and a significantly reduced environmental footprint.
